Surgeon scrub sinks
Surgeon scrub units are used in hospitals, clinics and doctors rooms. They are all made from industrial grade 304 (18/10) stainless steel so they will not rust. Various models are available from single bowl wall hung to floor mounted sinks. The floor mounted and wall mounted units can be ordered in custom sizes. The most popular taps are elbow action medical mixers which can be found at the bottom of the page.
Trough surgeon scrub unit with tap landing and splash back.
Wall mounted trough surgeon scrub unit designed for clinics and small hospitals. 2, 3 and 4 bay units 1300mm, 1900mm and 1500mm respectively. Made from grade 304(18/10) 1.2mm thick stainless steel. Trough scrub can accommodate deck mounted CO-521-21/N elbow action medical taps. Unit to be mounted on a brick wall and supported by two 40mm square tubing gallows brackets. 150mm Splashback to the rear, optional splashbacks to the sides can also be requested.

SMS Surgeon mini scrub-up unit specifications:
SMS surgeon mini scrub-up unit is the most popular unit for small surgeries, clinics and doctors offices. It is designed with hygiene in mind and is very easy to clean due to the rounded corners and surface. The outer dimensions are 665 x 554 x 258 mm. The unit is manufactured from grade 304 (18/10) stainless steel with a 1.6 mm thick integral splash back 300 mm high with tap holes for a medical elbow action mixer.
The bowl is 525 x 425 x 258 mm and manufactured from grade 304 (18/10) stainless steel 0.9 mm thick. It comes standard with a 90mm waste outlet for a basket strainer fitting (included with unit). The unit is fitted with removable galvanised mild steel 1,6 mm thick fixing plate. It is fixed to a brick wall 900 mm high from the top of the front apron to the finish floor level with anchor bolts (not supplied).

Wall mounted hospital scrub-up sink
Model SSW Wall mounted surgeon scrub sink is manufactured from grade 304 (18/10) stainless steel 1,6 mm thick with 150 mm high integral splash back to the back. The wall mounted surgeon scrub sink has curved internal corners for comfortable use. Depending on the length of the wall mounted hospital scrub-up basin, there is either 1 or 2 40 mm waste outlet’s .
The scrub unit is also suitable for wall mounted foot operated taps which makes hand washing much more hygienic than before. Install a wall mounted spout such as the W-GWS.
The wall mounted scrub-up unit is available in four standard lengths:
- 1200 mm with one outlet
- 1500 mm with one outlet
- 1800 mm with two outlets and
- 2100 mm with two outlets.

The front and sides of the scrub sink has a double walled construction with a inner wall sprayed with vermin proof bitumastic sound deadening approximately 2 mm thick. The wall mounted scrub sink is fitted with a removable galvanized mild steel 2 mm thick fixing plate.
Unit fixed to wall 900 mm high from the top of the front apron to the finish floor level with anchor bolts (bolts specified elsewhere).
Installation: The height of the rim of the unit should be ±800 mm high. Similar to normal basin height.
A foot operated surgeon scrub unit is also available on request.

Recommended taps with SMS mini surgeon scrub unit
The mini scrub-up unit is used with medical elbow wall hung taps. Other taps from Grohe such as the Euroco Safety mixers are the preferred choice due to their low maintenance cost and excellent support.
